land generation
OMG YES. Jeb is working on new land generation, which is supposed to be less flat :D plus he added a flat world option :O read more about it here. And, the Star Wars content contest is going on right now. Some of this stuff is pretty impressive.

In recent minecraft updates, sheep have been a bit of a focus. I just read that in 1.10, sheep will be able to regrow their wool, which will be very helpful, since wool wont be the hardest goddamn thing in the world to find. http://www.minecraftforum.net/news/359-weekly-recap-better-sheep-cobalt-more/
Just some minecraft news updates: minecraft won "best indie title" at the VGA's, snapshot week 49 is out (http://www.minecraftforum.net/news/349-this-weeks-snapshot-released/), and minecraft was in a top 10 list in TIME magazine. Also, notch handed minecraft over to Jeb, which i don't personally mind.
